Position Overview

The position will assist in the administration of the company’s entire accounting function, including but not limited to maintenance of current accounting procedures and systems, and the implementation of new procedures and systems as the company grows. The ideal applicant has a strong accounting background, is very detail-oriented, and capable of producing with little supervision.  The ideal candidate will be adaptable and willing to take on different duties as priorities change.



  • Enter financial data, prepare accounts/financial statements, and document business transactions
  • Complete month-end closing procedures, including payroll
  • A/P functions including entering bills and processing checks
  • Oversee monthly credit card reconciliation process and the company’s travel policy
  • Assist in budget/cash flow forecast preparation, including analysis of revenue and expenditure trends
  • Assist in budget reporting, including analysis of revenue and expenditure trends
  • Maintain the company’s accounting and administrative systems, including computer software systems and manual filing systems
  • Assist with developing and maintaining accounting control procedures
  • Interface with internal and external auditors, investors, and customers

Required Skills

  • Undergraduate degree in accounting or a related field; GPA of 3.5 or above is strongly preferred
  • 2- 4 years of professional experience with accounting practices and procedures
  • Knowledge of financial/accounting software applications (Netsuite) is a plus
  • High attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills
  • High personal integrity and commitment to excellence
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently
